Valentino ‘wowed’ with their first Pre-fall collection since the 1980’s.
Creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli incorporated Japanese aesthetic ‘wabi-sabi’,the beauty of imperfection, into the asymmetrical silhouettes, ruffled garments and fitting to Japan, an abundance of the colour red.
It was the first for Valentino female and male models to walk down the catwalk at the same time *gasp* and also their first runway show in Tokyo.
Petals literally rained from the ceiling to close the spectacular show.
